id on\'t, but when a kit comes up for a good deal, I\'ll be on it. I would be interested in your experiences. Most importantly spool up time and driveability on street and in city.

Just for the record. My engine is a Judge ito street port (large), PFC ECU, exhaust mods, bigger injectors coming when switching to single (now full non seq)

Spool up is slower as you can make so much power. Fully spooled at 5000 revs on large street port. But that is easy it\'s just about changing your driving style and gear selection. At 5K the power is beyond fantastic, then you change up, keeping the revs above 5k and it justs kicks again. If for example you have a supercar behind you trying to push you out of the way, you just set her up at 5k in 3rd and by the time you are coming to the end of 4th they just arn\'t there anymore. I have not found anything on the road that can stay with me.
Drivability is fine, no issues at all. Fuel consumption is great as you are not using the turbo until you need it. I run on high boost all the time 575bhp.

If you want me to list my spec then I can if that helps you. :wave

It will spool a lot quicker but you have to do a half/full bridge, having said that it\'s just about getting use to it and it does sound soooooooooooo sweettttttttttttt just like a Jet engine.
Love Ittttttttttttttttttttt.:rollin

And to any of us lucky to have a ride in it.  I\'m still astounded at the pace of your car.

It\'s certainly a spec a lot of us would aspire to, however I think in my case I need to learn to handle my stock twins at 1bar first before progressing on to more power :yes

Yep the HKS version of the T51R is a very good design, I weighed it up against a normal Garrett T51R and a GT42.
Pros for HKS is the fluted undivided rear exhaust housing giving less back pressure then a divided housing as it technically is a bigger AR then the normal T4 divided footprint.
The exhaust housing is really bl**dy light, its actually much lighter then the T04Z I had.
The manifold is short runner which is technically is a better design for a rotary turbo so will give better turbo response.
Tial have started to produce HKS V band style rear light exhaust housings for GT42s as they recognise it as a better design.
The most important Pro is the unique noise only found on the HKS T51

The fun bit is when you do Track days, people can hear you coming for ages as the Turbo drowns out any exhaust note....just like a jet fighter coming in to do an attack run. :Laugh:Laugh:Laugh:Laugh:Laugh:evillaugh

What...?

I run on Silverstone with no probs at all, just pick tracks that do a noisey day. Lots of cars put out far more db\'s than my FD.
