We are considering selling Sarah\'s FC and we were just wondering what sort of money we should be asking for it.
It is pretty standard apart from the induction and zorst.
Any advice would be great, ta

Nick,
It\'ll probably help to put the age of the car on the thread and whether n/a or turbo.
looking on pistonheads they range from between 1k to 2.5k depending on model and condition.
Gareth
There\'s a H plate Turbo with 112K on it on Autotrader for.....Wait for it...
it\'s worth the wait...
you might want to sit down....
£3400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Do you think they might have been smoking something? :Giggle
I know of a G plate going for over 5 grand and it is well worth it! better than most Fd\'s ou there so you really need to know full spec.

Ok Gareth, *tut* lol.
It\'s an \'89 TII in red which is in good condition, there are a couple of little rust bubbles on the bodywork but nothing major and the welding has been done underneath for the last MOT. it has MOT until september but no tax.
It has an HKS induction kit on it and an SS exhaust including decat.
Lowered as far as I can remember but Jase (T2Rew) would be able to tell you exactly what has been done to the suspension as we bought the car from him.

Looks bog stock from the photos, complete with missing front lensey thingy. Think they may be extracting the wee wee:rollin
Given the condition of Sarah\'s car I would say that £2500-£3000 is fair, depends how urgent you are to sell really?
I had the same figure in mind as Brett. if you compare it with other makes of cars, It should be worth much more. You can only buy a ropey MGB for £3000
I can vouch that it is good condition and that it has been looked after.
Thanks alot guys. Just shown Sarah that and she was quite shocked. She was expecting about £700 lol :D
I tried to tell her it was nearer £2k but she said she was trying to be realistic. :D
Cheers again guys.

i\'m not talking about that one, there is another for sale on here at the moment.
and what lense is missing?
i sold mine for 4k+ but then mine was special!!! ;)
this is £5500
I bought my FC, 78k on the clock, \'91 with good service history and strong engine for £1800, there was a black turbo II on here a while back that just needed a clutch, recent rebuild from rotechnics going for £800
I would have thought £2k would be a good fair price for that car assuming it all worked OK etc :D FCs are equivalent to s13 200sx Nissans really, they are the competition, and they only fetch around £1200 when in VGC and minor unchav mods, I don\'t see the FC\'s being worth a fat lot more than that IMO.

How dare you :Nono!
Just because the S13 is the unimaginative rent boys choice of car for the UK\'s worthless drift scene doesn\'t mean other cars of the same era should be lumped in with it regardless.
Oh no don\'t get me wrong the FC is much cooler, but they are similar power, similar size/weight/shape, both FR, both Jap, both same age, and were I guess similar prices when new. Therefoe just logic to compare the two together :)
What would an imaginative rent boy choose?
