Hi All,
Just thought I\'d break cover from lurking to let you know that this has just been added to the HKS Drag Series entry list, and all being well should be running at JapShow at the weekend: http://japdragseries.co.uk/hks_dragseries_2008detail.php?JapID=71
I am very excited... the REWORX boys don\'t do things by half...
That looks quite tasty!!! :driving

Great to see the RE:works name on the strip again. Well done guys :god:Thumbs-up
Adam
That does look impressive - well done the REWorx boys - wonder what else may be a suprise this weekend ? Hoping for some class rotary action :Thumbs-up
Ha i was having a good nosey round this the other day in the workshop, some really nice work done on it, Jeff who did the work is expecting 500+bhp, should be sweet!!
Awesome, does look the business, good luck to them!
Can\'t wait to see this run... bring on the first Jap car in the 7\'s :D
Well, the cars having initial setup done tomorrow, and if everything seems ok will do a couple of runs on saturday. There are no illusions that it will do any thing spectacular out of the box, the car is a totally different ball game to Stripey and will no doubt take a good while to extract anything like its potential. The motor is a totally standard 20B block so it wont make fantastical power, but until Geff has a clue how to drive it (he\'s driven it around the yard once, on/off the dyno and on/off trailers to date!), power is the last of things to be considered.
Fingers crossed the chassis does some thing approaching what its meant to and it pulls straight-ish out of the whole :)
If nothing else it should make a nice noise as those who\'ve heard it at the workshop can confirm. Still needs a lot of setup time tho, hopefully the throttle tip in isnt too bad and it doesnt stall everytime he pressed the gas!
Make sure you get lots of video for those of us who can\'t make it! :wave
brilliant work! Looking forward to seeing n hearing this in the flesh #;o)
now that is nice!!!!!!
awsome...:god:god:god another good reason to be there this sunday...:chat
i cant wait to see this run! I saw this few month back down at re worx

Correct, still being setup atm. Will be going direct from workshop to Pod assuming everythings ok for it to do some shakedown runs.
well - fingers crossed it all goes to plan! See whoever\'s going on Sunday! #;o)
Njoy the w/e:):wave:driving
Roll on Rotorstock!! :D

Lol, had done one \'full\' pass, low 11s by the time Max and I left. Half a bar boost on a bone stock 20B block, rolling off the line instead of using the transbrake (which is when the fun really starts :P). Geff was taking it easy (was completely ****ting him self having not driven a car at the strip for a couple of years - and then getting into a 3/4 chassis!) and very pleasingly the first run it went very straight, so thumbs up to Hausers. Thanks to Danny for finishing off the decals about 10 minutes before its first run too :)
It still needs a lot of tuning still to get the most out of the motor before going to some thing with slightly larger ports ;) VERY happy with its first outing, and very happy for Geff to get his first run out the way, having driven it round the yard once in total prior to today! *Lots* more to come!
In other news, Willday wiped out 2nd in his RX8 box on his first run :( From the mess coming out of Gary Gooding\'s car on his first run and the fact he never returned to his pit area I\'d imagine he had terminal engine problems of some kind. Impey ran 9.6 first run but I believe had broken some thing on the rear end just as we were leaving :( Ross had just broken the diff in Steve\'s car too :( Altho Colum was underneath it fixing it :yes
Racing was still going on when we left at around 5pm. Fingers crossed ppl get stuff fixed and manage some good times today/tomorro.
Thanks for the update :wave
Things are looking good :Giggle

That doesnt sound good at all. Hope the guys can get something sorted by tomorrow. Good luck :D

Yikes lots of broken things this weekend, and only the first day.
That must be cool to run 11\'s on only half a bar of boost.

Yah, it was just pleasing that it went so straight, the 60 ft was 2.5 i tihnk :P
Geff has had a couple of goes with the transbrake and has managed a flat 10 at 130-something, so all going well! Slowly upping the boost after reviewing logs after each run. No full banzai runs yet, letting off a bit here and there etc. Theres also a major head wind apparently, but its sunny so fingers crossed.
Pretty awesome job from both car & Geff so far tbh!
All the others are bust; willday gearbox, impey gearbox, gooding turbo, steve diff - altho it sounds as tho they are still trying to fix steve\'s.
Is mark there Blitzboy how is he doing?

Silversnail was still going round when i left at 3.30 ish, got bloody sunburnt :flamed and had to go
I saw that on the weekend :) was nice to see a tuned 20B :D
I watched this run a few times on sunday, very impressive!
He seemed to be taking it a little easy off the line, but on the first few runs i would as well. I also saw a very sideways moment as well, i had my hart in my mouth.
Was it still only on .5 bar on sunday or did you start turning it up a little.
Verry impressive gent. Well done.
matt
