Driving Home tonight I noticed a funny smell in the car, which worried me a bit, anyway when I got the car home I found a puddle/ damp patch in the passenger footwell, which was where the smell was coming from, the liquid was warm. Can anyone tell me what this is? I got a feeling it\'s the heater matrix but not sure, if it is I gather it\'s gona need changing.

sounds like the matrix to me mate, if its warm its definately coolant.

Can it be repaired or is it cheaper just to replace it? also is it diificult to remove?

heater matrix its a dash off job there is a detailed description and pics of how to do it on here
