of if anyone out ther has a clutch for said model please let me know

Hi Martin,

Just checked the part numbers of a year 2000 car against the nunbers for a 1993 car and the Clutch IS definatly the same unit in both cases .

Hope this helps

I think the reason this is quoted is because the official UK car was only sold upto 95/96. I\'ve seen lots of price lists of parts for the FD and alot of the time they say 92-95 next to the FD3S chassis code, but the majority of stuff would still fit all the later Jap models.

Hope that helps, Paul:)

Many thanks for the clutch help .. I have a source in SanFrancisco !!  willing to ship to the UK for  " A very reasonable price " .. He was unsure of the spec too and advertised  them as Full Clutch Kits .O E   93 to 97 MY  .. So with Confidence now,   I will place an order .. T

The  present clutch seem fine around town at the moment ,but on the Motor-Way under large throttle opening  and at high speed . I get an ingredible pong of burning linings. I suppost that where the motors working hard and the "horses"  are trying to  get out somewhere . Guess I\'d better  take it easy untill the parcellpost arrives

Many Thanks again and Best Regards

Martin

Hi Martin, Not sure whether its the same on the RX but my scooby needed a new clutch recently suffered from eau de roasted clutch, but once they start to slip, u risk loosing the flywheel too. I too had to take it v easy til new clutch was in, u may want to cruise round in the MX5 for a bit :) take pressure off the Rex
