Title: Trivial question. Direction of the eccentric shaft pulley bolt
Post by: joola89 on June 18, 2008, 07:56:24 PM
Here\'s the scenario.

4 bolts snapped from eccentric shaft pulley boss on FC Turbo II.
Got replacment boss.

Now which way does the bolt turn to release the boss?

Stood facing the car, fly-wheel all locked up etc.
Breaker bar on the bolt.

Do I turn left or right?

Bolt seems to be stuck on. Tried both ways with fair amount of pressure. I\'ve got acess to a air gun, that didn\'t work neither.

Before I try with a BIGGER gun! And break stuff, Which way should i turn?

Many Thanks,
Ray.

yeah there normally really tight, just dont use heat on it as there is a rubber oil seal around it in the front cover, dont want to damage that either
