Title: DS Engineering - someone asked me what I thought??
Post by: nallen on March 15, 2004, 06:13:11 PM
Lost the thread, but someone had asked me to let them know how I got on at DS.  Sorry \'bout that, but happy to report a stress free experience for whoever it was.  First up - I was reassured by the fact that Clive\'s car was in when I dropped mine off.  Second - they were 100% up front about what DIDN\'T need doing - I was potentially looking at a new gearbox & was relieved to hear that my stuttering/spluttering/lack of kickdown was just a lack of gearbox oil - thank you god.  Third - they didn\'t take ages to get hold of parts needed, didn\'t charge me a fortune & didn\'t scare me into getting the car serviced every 15 mins....would recommend 100%.

That would be the DS engineering in/near Dartford, right? You don\'t have contact details, or a website URL for them do you? I need to get some minor work done on my fd, and they\'re one of the most local companies to me. They also seem to have a pretty good reputation. Save me having to try to haul my car all the way up to WGT :)
