Title: Water pump housing tank?
Post by: Dr-Rotor on June 13, 2008, 05:43:49 AM
Hey guys, would anyone know where I can get 1 of these tanks that replaces the stock filler neck section. I need it becasue it provides more clearance to have a larger water pump pull in order to slow down the pump for racing.

Take a look at the pics.

If your in a hurry most of the tuners will have them in stock. Its the Alu AST (air seperation tank).

no Shaun its the not the AST tank he is talking about, this item replaces the water filler neck setion on the front of the engine. It is held on by three bolts, the replacement extends the filler neck forward so gives more room to put a bigger wheel (his main reason in getting one) on the water pump and also slightly more capacity.

those ones Merlin sells a universal still not really suited for the 13B rew as they attach via a hose, the one from Revolution actually "bolts" on straight onto the water pump housing of the 13B

Thank you guys for your input. Much appreciated.
I found that R-Magic make them too but I think there could be a communication problem trying to get 1 from them.

I think as Revolotions webpage has some english in it I stand a better chance of getting what I want.

Thanks again fellas.
