Post by: yb52luo on June 10, 2008, 11:20:03 PM

u know of any coilovers or shocks that are not the price of tein but are good!

or poss any other that will fit from another car like a fd or a skyline etc

my friend sujjested there might be a generic fitting item, from a more core car to give me better choice

What about some second hand ones? I just bought some Tein rears and Kei office fronts off DRIFTMOTION from this site. If you look around im sure you\'ll find some to suit your budget. I got told that you get what you pay for when it comes to suspension and that the cheeper stuff is just that, cheep. I am ready to be flamed if I am wrong here though!

If you want to go sideways.... Then forget a generic suspension, because the damping rates will be too tame. You will need aftermarket suspension to minimise weight transference. You also need to consider steering angle as the FC is well known for having none! Either steering arms from Uras or shim out your original steering arms.
