Is that flocked? Or Alcantara? That\'s fricking ace, have you had the console and door cars done as well?
its suede mate! yeah i done the console too, also done one door card at the moo! like i said tho i done know if i am still 100% sure of it yet tho... :(
Well, if you don\'t like it and want to swap it for stock... ;) :D
Seriously, did you do that yourself, are you a trimmer? looks pretty flippin\' impressive!
i have got a stock at home mate will swap you for your bonnet tho! with my stock one of course :P
nah this my first time trying!
Lol, nice try, but nah ;)
Fancy doing a how-to write up? How easy was it to do?
shame!
to be honest mate i have forgot what i done as i tryed so many diffrent ways! would not know where to start unless, i started again and then it would probs come back to me!
well for the first time it was not as hard as i thought it would be. can get very stressy and you defo need a second set of hands!
That looks great! If i can get hold of another dash I may have a crack at that myself.
Nice Dash Dude !!!
If you fancy a week down south and want to do mine .. free bed and breakfast :D
and petrol money and a shot in your car yeah :D
i didnt think so many people would like it TBH!
thanks
steven
ummmm might be worth it lol..... you bring beer :D
in your car it matches the steering wheels and other features . So all good .
yeah i spose so! i just really like the look of well finished flocked dash\'s! so i might get my spare flocked and see what i like best!
Looks ace! Especially since I know how hard it can be to cover stuff that ain\'t perfectly flat with Alcantara, it\'s a total PITA, just wrinkles all over the place. Much kudos to you for pulling that one off, dude!
looks amazing, really like that a lot....have considered it before but seing it it looks top notch. good gauges too
Looks canny fella :)
Looking forward to seeing this on Sunday guv, if youre down SOL way?
Chris
thanks people!
i am not 100% sure if i am going yet! are you going in your 7 like?
steven
Yup im going matey :)
Off to the local beer festival the day before so just hope my handover is gone and the weather holds out, but i\'ll be there!
Chris
Hi,
Does the dished wheel make any difference with leg room?
Thanks
Tim
Looks great bud, how long did it take to refit the dash? I\'m seriously considering going for a suede interior so any input would be much appreciated. Hows the car now bud, did the remapping/MOT go ok?
hmm i may pop down to the JNE then!

yeah every thing went fine mate! only prob now is that theu turbos defo seem to be on there way out! its still very fast tho!
as for the refit of the dash it felt like it was taking forever, only reason was, because the clifford alarm\'s wiring was all over the place. So i had to shift all of it around all the time.
Looks great mate- I found the hardest parts are-
-Around the glove box
-The glove box!
-Sides of the dash
-Centre bottom left of the dash (near the footwell)
-The back part of the centre console (behind the ashtray section)
Can ya get pics of these? I\'d just like to see how you\'ve tackled them!
yeah mate your spot on! the back behind the ashtray is defo the hardest!
i aint done the glove box yet mate! and i have started to do then centre console bit again!
and what do you mean the sides mate? where the vents are?
steven
Yeah the side vents that vent to the door, the drivers side is pretty easy but it\'s quite hard to avoid creases on the passangers side! I think the centre console bit needs some stitching... or A LOT of manipulation!
i havnt done them mate! can sort of see in the first pick! yeah i would say you need to stitch it up, but then again i have this pick:
