Title: Coolant loss / buzzer sounding
Post by: robedwards99 on June 02, 2008, 02:28:42 PM
Used the FD yesterday without any problems at all, ran fine with no issues.

The engine is standard apart from a PWR ally radiator fitted less than 10k miles ago.

Engine has about 15k on it.

Started up just now for the first time today and after about 10 seconds the coolant buzzer came on.

I turned off immedietly and popped the bonnet.

Took off the middle filler cap and saw no sign of a water level.

I have now topped up and it only took about a pint of water before taking no more. While I was filling I removed the AST cap too and the level rose in that too as I topped up.

Any suggestions???

I checked the fluids about a week ago and it was all fine.

I could really do with using the car but I\'m scared I\'m gonna break it!
