Post by: Clarky on June 02, 2008, 09:12:38 AM
Can anyone help me with this problemwith my FD:

It idles ok from cold starting to temp, then it idles as if the cold choke comes on, then it will idle ok, then ckoke again, does this when hot, no set pattern this happens at any time.

Could be worth checking for any leaks around the intake plenum! Cracks on pipes or vacuum hose\'s!

I had a small crack that affected my idle!

i had this.. i believe on mine it was a small crack in the intercooler ribbed elbow.. which decided to become a big crack when i finally fixed my 2nd turbo..

another common but annoying one is the black crossover pipe under the front strutbrace has a nasty habbit of popping off.. usually driverside. check all the clamps/jubilee clips are nice and tight :)
