i turned my air con on yesterday when i was sat at a junction waiting to pull out and it made it idle erratically between maybe 250 and 850 :2eek
any ideas why this would happen???

I get exactly the same thing when I turn mine on while stationary. Levels out after a little while but makes you sound like a total boy racer at a set of lights.
it shouldnt do it though, never used to do it before which is strange.
Sounds odd but mine only started doing it after it was mapped.
come to think of it so did mine. some one care to explain??
