Title: Fuel Pump Wiring Mod
Post by: davehg on May 30, 2008, 07:56:33 PM
just wondered how many people on here have by passed the low voltage fuel pump circuit so that they have a constant 14v at the pump?

i have a skyline pump fitted that allowed me to get 500fwhp but now ive fitted a T51 ive had to do this mod along with 850 primarys.

The main question is has anyone done this mod with this type of pump as mine is now pretty loud.

044\'s tend to be really really loud on constant voltage too, a friends can be heard from outside!
i have skyline pump but would this miod be needed if only planning to achieve 350-380fwhp?

no, you shouldnt need to do this at all, ive only had to do this due to wanting to go beyond 500fwhp and my pump then cant keep up. mine can also be heard outside of the car, even over the exhaust while on tick over and its not wxactly a quiet car!
