think it depends on the decat and downpipe to be honest, thats where the noise a start then the box will just amplify it lol, the blitz nurspec is meant to be silly loud, iv got a kakimoto up for sale thats more a rumble ..

titanium gives more of a rattly sound if you know what i mean so yes would get rid of the base perhaps but then the tone may hurt your ears.

as above dp and middle are important mate.

On the satin rx7 i had a full titanium straight through system with 3" and then 4" at the back, all i can say is i could not hear a bloody thing apart from the exhaust !!!!!

turn speakers up and listen

remember that is on idle, much louder on boost as per below:

Hee hee. What\'s wrong with that, then! If it\'s too old you\'re too deaf...no, hang on that\'s not right, too loud? er, mad? :D Maybe I\'ve spent too long on bikes, but you know what they say, loud pipes save lives! Try listening to an open-piped ZX636 that redlines at 15,000 rpm for hours on end, plus helmet wind noise etc. Hey presto! You\'ll think your Rex is whisper quiet in comparison!

Yeah, you\'re better off with a silenced midpipe.

I\'m running a 3" straight through system with a 5" back box and after a three hour drive people have to stand very close to me for me to hear them......

I\'ve removed the stereo and replaced it with earplugs......
