Tim\'s been builing his for what seems like 4 years now, hopefully it will be worth the wait. Silverman i\'m starting to have doubts that he\'s passed his driving test. Jaydee, when you getting Karim\'s car out to play, all these horses and no one to ride the Kart??

2 weeks for me, had a hiccup, we found the problem and fixing it at the mo, will be laying down some 1 Bar passes at the first, then race gassing it. Then breaking something in the drivetrain will be the order of the day haha

Yep i sure do know the meaning of "bogging",although knowing a few of you guys this particular phrase probably means something else i.e george michael style.I will be the daddy one day,and i will make you pay"silversnail" will be no longer it will be "silverbullit" A film will be made starring steve macqueen "sh*t he"s dead!",oh dean gaffney or dev from coronation street(other great actors) will have to do.

When is anyone going to run simalar boost levels to me,or cant anyone else handle it.Slate the snail but at least i am trying the boundaries of the rotary engine on petrol.There only a few people who know the level of power my vehicle actually has and between driving a 400rwhp and driving a monster is a vast difference.I will be out to play soon, so watch this space Brian,the times will come but "slowly":Laugh:wave

That\'s exactly what i\'m having some banter. If someone is thick enough to take it personal and wants to turn it to ridicule let them go ahead, but I\'m having some banter, far more important things in life to take personal than a bit of fun. You may have a problem with that but I know Tim don\'t.

I dont think chris"s is now road legal,james is currently the fastest street legal car with a 10.5.My car still has a mot and tax,abeit needing a couple of silencers it still has a full interior and you can drive it on the road.Ross"s drag car was in fact street legal when he set his 9.1.What is the definition of "street" though?Personally i would say James has the fastest street car at the moment:cheers

Loud exhaust effects people different ways, the last time I got pulled in mine the officer (male was complaining about the noise and was trying to tell me I had a blow exhaust).
The next time I was accelerating down a road quite quick, came to a set of traffic lights where a police office (female) gave me a smile a wink and a nod of the head), and there was me expecting a speeding ticket??

I think it was 133mph terminal,so in theory both you and i could do 10 sec passes fairly easily,my best so far is a pathetic 12.1,but every time i drive it on the strip i feel more confident.To be honest the car is capable of a 9 and that is what i will be striving for with full interior this year.:Thumbsup!
well ok, Chris\' prob wouldn\'t get an MOT since the Jericho box (and associated transmission tunnel mods), but, when he did his 9.9 (ish) he still had the H pettern box and the car was technically still road legal....

Someone else in my car could probably do 10 sec quite easy, but not me trust me I\'ve tried. my best 60ft is still only 1.9 sec.
A change of tyre and clutch may well help though. When you next hitting the strip.

2 or 3 weeks depending on weather and family,i am going to give it a couple more trys on mt et streets,then try mt slicks and launch control,i cant seem to build enough boost on the line to get moving,my best 60ft is 1.8,but i really need 1.4-1.5 to get moving then the let the power do the rest.In this game it all about the first 1/8th,that is where chris impey is so good.:cheers

Well I spoke to Tim yesterday and he\'s finishing off the red FC (Mike\'s I think) then he\'s on to mine, soI\'ll chase him mid week and see where we are.
Things that need doing still:
1) finish building exhaust
2) fit the radiator in place
3) mount twin fans under rad
4) fit and plumb-in wastgate
5) map mircotech
I think that is it... I hope :D
