Nothing to do with this as i have got hold of a baffle for my exhaust now but i have been told that the injectors on my 89" n/a fc are noturious for leaking is this true if so is it worth eplacing or getting them cleaned & reconditioned??
Just make one - those ones are crap.
You need to use a much large bore pipe than that with a closed end. Then work out the cross sectional area of your stock exhaust tip. Once you have done that grab a 6mm drill and drill enough 6mm holes down the length of the pipe to equal the CSA of the origional exhaust tip.
This will silence much more effectively, and you wont get the stupid whistling/hissing noise associated with the other type.

Stilll a bit of a bodge imho. If you want it quieter, get a decat silencer or a quieter exhaust :)
Yeah i get what you mean mate will bare that in mind, see how it sounds once it is in & if sucks will be giving that a go.
Yeah would love a new silencer but money is the issue as ever!
