were there ever 4 stud FC\'s in the uk (i know the US had them for a couple of years) and what are the chance\'s of getting some front hubs from one?
thanks
Mark
I thought they where always 5 stud because of the increase in kerb weight ?? What are you planning :Giggle ?
Shaun
FD front calipers FC rear, T11 discs front and rear but i want to keep the 114 x 4 pcd i can drill the discs but need the 4 stud hubs they made them for the non turbo FC\'s but i dont think we got them here
Mark

I have all the brake bits you need if you want them cheaply. FC calipers front and rear, newish FC disks. I do have some FD front calipers but going to put them on My FC. let us know if you want anything.
The US 4 stud ones had puny brakes....
thanks Pete would be interested in the rear FC calipers going FD front calipers myself, going to buy new discs and drill them to the 4 stud pattern i need
the main thing is the 4 stud front hubs!

Wont they be the same PCD as your Gen 1 hubs ?
I thought they were 4x114.3 or am I barking up the wrong tree ?

they will be but the gen 1 is a differnet set up with the bearings and studs sitting in the discs (no seperate hub) the gen 2 uses a hub with the back bearing and studs, these fit the FB spindles, the early 4 stud gen 2 hubs then need a slight milling to get the bigger t11 discs to fit i will then just need to drill 3 holes to the 114 x 4 PCD, respeed do a conversion kit to fit the FC/FD calipers,
rears are easier as i want to keep the 114 x 4 i just need the FC conversion kit and drill the discs
im in no hurry to do this just gathering parts at the minute but the conversion has been done in the US

You may have to wait a bit longer for them :) - plenty of life still left in them at the mo - but if you need any measurements off them let me know.
no worries Dave it was just to make sure everythink worked before ordering new ones sure i can get some or trust my workings!!
FC 4 stud hubs sourced and on route :Thumbs-up

didn\'t know there was anything going on at Trentham Gardens?
looks like the car will be off the road for at least 2 weeks anyway waiting for parts!
