Title: Topping up coolant?
Post by: probedb on May 25, 2008, 12:31:11 PM
Hi all,

I know this has probably been asked but all the coolant threads seem concerned with fully replacing the coolant in the system.

Where do I check the coolant level on a regular basis just to keep it topped up?

Cheers!

Paul.

What sort of level should it be in there? I know the overflow has L and F on the dipstick but not sure in there?

i beleive you should have it filled to the top in the filler neck by the alternator

normal level is about inch down from top..if u fill to brim and keep topping up then when hot will expand and eventually throw it out

Cool, thanks peeps. I\'ll top it up before I go out tomorrow as I think it\'s a bit low.
