I\'ve put on offer in on an RX7 in Japan so just waiting to hear back. The car has got a Blitz KKK K27 turbo on it. Has anyone had one of these or know the spec of them?

Well i\'ve just had word back from Japan and the car is mine.
Few interesting facts, which i\'ve just found out is that it\'s been rebuilt 12,000km ago, which is good news for me providing everything is still ok with it.
Only thing is it\'s red....... i\'ve had enough of red cars to last me a lifetime, so im looking a house of kolor paint to spray it. What do you guys recon. Was thinking of a decent kind of purple maybe?

well done mate......I hate those funny colours...I would just get a colour that is easy to get hold of from a branded manufacturer...ie, FORD or VW.....no hasseles when it comes to colour matching then....thats what i did and i havent seen another rex with my colour...it changes coulour in the light and everything.....Also hope your car gets over here with all the bits it left japan with!!!... might be an idea to pay the extra and get the (shippable) goodies taken of and sent to you seperately.

Thank you mate. I\'ve been pretty lucky over the past decade or so as i\'ve never had bits taken from the hundreds of cars i\'ve shipped over. But i\'ll have a look at what can be removed and shipped.

Here\'s the current spec list i\'ve got from Japan. The exterior could do with a complete overhaul, and we\'ll see if the *claimed* power output is true or not once it gets here. The exterior is not really to my taste but for what has been done to the car my offer was dirty money and silly not too really. Well thats what im telling the bank manager tomorrow. :D

Yes, Kunhle, Kopp and Kaush turbo (KKK). Very good turbo\'s.
wow looks like they got their info wrong on the suspension, they are not Tein HAs more like the more expensive NRs or RAs
Oh man i missed that car by an hour had the offer in through a friend and got an e-mail this morning that it was gone and here it is coming to UK again.

Blitzboy - Thanks for the info. Looks like they got a couple of things wrong as they say the AST is removed.... well look under the intercooler pipe near battery. Looks like an AST to me. lol.

Im not sure what im going to do with it as I\'ve got three in the garage at the moment, and im sure this will finally result in my divorce. I worked in Japan for a number of years and made a few friends over there in the car trade, they send me lists and photo\'s every week of whats available. This car is actually owned by a friend of a friend of a friend if you get what I mean. :burnout

Well after a few weeks of being fobbed off by the shipping company i finally got them to agree a schedule and it was confirmed this morning. The car is going to be loaded in Osaka on saturday and the ship sets sail from Yokohama on monday.
I much prefer container shipping to RO/RO as they container ship nearly every week and not every month, plus if i\'d of missed this boat i\'d of had to wait till september before I saw the car. But then container shipping is nearly double the cost of RO/RO.
I\'ve got exactly 4 days for the car to dock, clear customs and pick it up as I fly to the USA on the 30th. It\'s going to be tight and I hope the ship isnt delayed. lol.

You know what, i\'ve had so many people saying they\'ll go and pick it up for me. Funny though as nobody wants to pick up the Hilux Surf thats on the same boat though, strange that. :D
