Right I need to stick some new tyres on my new alloys on the FD but I\'m not sure what size I should go for.
The alloys are Volk Racing 17"s and are 8inches wide but have a bit of a lip on the outside as you can see from the pics below.

Any ideas?
22/45/17 on front and 245/40/17 on back should be fine mate, might be able to go 255 on back if there isnt a lot of overlap

22 on the front? bit skinny isn\'t it? :Giggle
255\'s on an 8ish rim, you sure?
I have 18x9.5\'s on the back with 255\'s on them?
Before I had these refurbed I had some Falken 205/45/R17\'s on but they weren\'t wide enough when you looked at them.
Well IIRC the standard wheels are 8" and they have 225/50/R16 so you\'d get 225 and 235\'s on no problem

butter fingers today lol
i have a set with 8\'s and im running 245 and they are fine. With 9.5 you could fit 265 piece of cake on them
Think I\'ll go for 225\'s on the fronts and 235\'s on the rears.
i run 8" on the front with 235/45/17
9" rear with 255/40/17
yep, likewise on super advan sa3r\'s.....

Widest i\'d go on an 8 is a 245 to be honest. What are the offsets? If they are hardcore you may need a slight stretch, but with easy fitments you could just run 235\'s all round, or 225\'s if you want to save an absolute bundle.
245 is still too wide.
235 is the most you should run.
I have some D01J\'s for sale if you want them....I have 215\'s for the front and 235\'s for the rear. brand new and £60 per tyre

I\'m not saying i\'d like it, but you could. ;) :D I\'m pretty sure R32 GTR\'s run 245\'s as standard, and those are 8" wide wheels :)
