Title: Silverish FB(?) with Viper Stripes, A41 Hemel
Post by: seanp on May 20, 2008, 10:55:57 PM
I spotted an slivery (maybe light blue) FB (I think -- very early \'C 429\' reg wedge shaped \'7?) with viper stripes and a *huge* rear spoiler, on the slip-road off the A41 into Hemel Hempstead this morning. We were side-by-side for a while, and I let him into the right lane (cheeky manoeuvre!) after the round-about, and followed him down towards the lights (where he blasted through the red!)...

Was it you? Did this \'8 owner get the model right? (There, who says \'8 owners never acknowledge 7s? ;) )

Sean, You did brilliant my son.
I\'ve had this car on my 1st Generation Register since your post last year. It\'s just surfaced on e bay. Right model, partial reg correct and colour is light blue. Spoiler is bigger than you described though!! His (Her) engine is now blown though!!
Thanks for the sighting.. Dave.

Thanks to noysboy100db (sp?) at Rotorstock 4 for educating me and a couple of other RX8ers on the different \'7 models :) :wave

Yeah, the paintwork needed some, erm, attention -- as did the ironing board on the back ;)
