Hi,
So, I have searched the threads relating to the "bucking" sensation experienced at very light throttle as I am also experiencing this problem.
Based on the other suggestions in related threads I have checked my dashpot plunger in relation to the throttle stop and the two were at least 10mm apart.
I have removed the dashpot and cleaned it, lubed it with WD40, but the plunger (white plastic) only protrudes about 5mm from the housing (see photo), (sorry for the poor quality). I can pull the plunger so it extends approx 12mm, but when released it retracts to about 5mm.
To get the plunger closer to the throttle stop, I have sawn the locking nut in half to make a "thin nut" about 5mm thick and refitted the dashpot.
Now the plunger reaches the throttle stop and I can still lock it place with the "thin nut", but I suspect it is not offering sufficient damping.
A quick test drive this evening and the "bucking" sensation is greatly reduced, but not cured.
Question; Is my dashpot correct or should the white plastic plunger protrude further than 5mm from the housing ?
I hope you gather from this I have exhausted my searching and now need your advice.
Many thanks
