Am sure there are enough of us in the north west for a rotary only meet and the Garstang/Mascrat manor seem to have petered out.
So firstly who\'s up for it?
If there\'s enough people up for it, I\'m more than happy to organise it. My initial thoughts are a mid-week evening probably monday, held quartely (monthly may be too much) at a pub somewhere just off the M6 - any thoughts appreciated :guinness

Didn\'t realise Garstang was still going. Thought there were only 3 cars at the last one and not heard anything for a while. If its every two months that would explain it.

The Garstang meet is organized by the Skylineownersclub but is a meet for all Jap cars. It is every other month now as monthly meets seemed to draw less of a crowd. As soon as I find out the next date I will post it up. If your up for this add your name on the list.

Anyone heard anything on the Garstang meet, I was having a nose on the Skyline forum but couldn\'t find anything.
Anyway its Japnorthwest on monday (9th June) at the Mascrat Manor, I know people say its gone downhill but its never been that bad when I\'ve gone.

I just registered with the Skylineowners club to ask the question of when the next meet is. I\'ll keep you posted if and when I hear anything.

It starts about 7.30 I think, I\'ll get there sometime between 7.30 and 8.00.

Tim_B and myself went it was really busy there was a lot of supra\'s and skylines there but we tried to keep the RX end up had a lot of interest about out rotors which was nice. It was my first time at a meet for me and we both said that we will go back hopefully in bigger numbers next time.:Thumbs-up

Still not heard anything back from them. If you want to organise a mini meet than that could be cool. Like Stu says we\'re gonna miss the summer if we arn\'t careful! Any preferance on date/location?

we could do with suggestions of locations and what day you all prefer all this will never leave the ground !
Im happy with Guys Court as a location as its a good size, food and drink are available and its not so far away from me as most other meets are. But Its up to all of us really.

The macrat meet was really good on monday. A good number of cars but not overcrowded like it used to be, plenty of parking. None of the corsa crowd showed up either.
I\'m definitely going back next month (14th July). I reckon it\'d be a good place for us all to start meeting again :driving
Then perhaps if we get enough rx7 owners coming to Mascrat we could think about doing our own mini meet :Thumbs-up

Right guy. I\'ve just got word back from Shane over on the Skylineowners web site. He is organising a meet at Guys Court (Garstang) for the end of July.
At best thats 6 weeks away so the question is are we gonna have a mini meet ourselves?
I am up for it as long as i\'m not in work have you got a date?. I will be going to the jap meet on the 14th July again in the meantime may be some more of us will turn up next time.

14th July is the next meet at the Mascrat Manor (pub just off J21 of M6), which is a general Jap meet. Come down, I think a few of us will be there :)
I see. Well it would be good to meet up. I\'ll have to see nearer the time though. Time and Money are tight at the minute and most of it is going into the car so it is ready for Rotorstock.

one thing i would like to say about this forum is, it\'s good to have someone makin th effort to organise a new meet, especially in the north west, other car clubs i have been in generally just can\'t be bothered doing anyhting like this, they stick to thier guns and i usually have to travel at least 100 miles just to meet like minded people!
I\'d quite happily organize a monthly at Guy Court (near Preston) every month. But I don\'t think its fair of me too as I can\'t guarantee I\'ll be able to make it every month. I\'ll post a meet up if you like and see how it goes. What do you think.
