You can get flat key type locks, that are almost flat.

I will take a picture of them when I get home.

I would also recomend the locking type ... the ones on the rally car get fiddled with frequently by passers by :reallymad  ... good job I\'ve left the standard bonnet catch on this time

Fish, where did you get those bonnet pins from, and how exactly do they work? Push them in?? And how would that work with the stock bonnet catch fitted, in which order would you push/pull things  lol

Thanks

Ryan

Rich, dont owe anyone anything. Just things are afoot.... Watch this space. :)

Ryan, they twist in to the lock via a key. Under the bonnet next to the wings are two rubber stoppers, they are removed and the securing pins are located there. The RE bonnet (pictured) also has the stock securing bracket, but just wanted something a little more secure.

I got mine from DS Engineering (01322 387372) in Dartford. I know that they have a set down there as I saw them the other day.

fibre glass, i wanted it same colour as car and the weight difference werent that much really so I thought id save myself a couple of hundred dollars and get the fibreglass one :)

How did you get on with your gauges in the end, have you got them all hooked up now?

Post by: Andyp on March 10, 2004, 11:21:18 PM
yeah all done mate.. only went for boost (at the mo)

Saved myself 100£ by just using the cool little stand that comes with the gauge rather than the pod. Theres a water temp one fitted, just missing the actual gauge, so if I ever want to put that in won\'t be hard!

At the mo, i\'m planning to go to the ring in summer so I just wanna get everything working nice for that.. MAY do the rad that\'s about it.. though i\'ll tell ya ALLLLLLLL about that at Woodbridge ;)
