Title: Best way to silence
Post by: dthebuk on May 07, 2008, 03:14:03 PM
Ok so my N/A fc is too loud for my liking, so could someone please suggest the best way to silence without losing too much power?

the engine has had the baffles removed and has; a racing beat header which goes to what looks like a silencer which doesn\'t seem to do anything. Then theres a decat pipe to the end back box of unknown origin (single exit).

the guy that sold the car to me said the best option would be to get a new silencer and new back box. any ideas?

cheers

Not a lot you can do without sacrificing power on a N/A - One option is to run a single exhaust from each port, this decreases overall power but does seem to reduce the noise a little.
