Amymore input is much appreciated :Thumbsup!
where abouts did you get knightsport twins from ??
Lee Mills from on here in the for sale section :D
Brand new and waiting to be fitted, just need to be sure about my downpipe.
Anymore input ?
Do the DP\'s on UK reg FD\'s come with a pre-cat? if so that is def NOT stock..
It should be fine with the new turbo\'s, provided they have the same exit shape/size as the stock ones.
Its a jap car so no cat in it mate.
it will fit with the new turbos as they are based on stock ones.
Just dont wanna be bolting a restrictive DP on and then taking it off again later
Not sure it\'s HKS - the bracket on my HKS looks different to that, plus it\'s coated with a black coating.
100% HKS mate.

Thanx all
Gonna be putting it back on :D

Aye, I have a Trust one and the lower mouinting bracket is different :)
Just as a matter of interest is it worth while wrapping the downpipe with exhaust wra[ while it\'s off the car?
Anyone had any experience of it good/bad on a rotary?
I\'d say anything to keep heat out of the bay is good :)
I wrapped mine - for the cvost i\'d sya you can\'t really go wrong.
Make sure you seal it with some hi temp paint afterwards to protect in case of any oil leaks. Oil leak + heat wrap = large wick...
Yeah, I\'d def say that wrapping the DP is a good idea! I\'ve wrapped my last two.
In the process of keeping heat out of the engine bay it seems reasonable to say that it would also keep the exhaust travelling through the DP hotter since heat wouldn\'t be able to dissipate. Though the effects may be negligible, it may still positively effect flow speeds within the piping (hotter air/gas is less dense and moves faster).
Just something I\'ve thought of in my musings... though I suppose it would really only be effective with a full de-catted exhaust
I have just bought a downpipe for my car and having it all wrapped up!1 I have huge vents in my bonnet but still the less heat in that engine bay the better!!
