Post by: Bigalfaewell on May 05, 2008, 05:32:33 PM
Hello,

Just wanted to share my finished project with you all..... All the blood, sweat and tears gone into her over the last ten months?!! It\'s mainly all been cosmetic work however, as she has been well looked after since she has been on British soil.... not seen a winter yet. She is just waiting to get mapped this week by Mark at \'The Garage\' in Motherwell and that will be her.

You can see her on my bebo page if anyone is interested........

http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MyProfile=Y

You will probably have to register to access this page.... but you can get me on this link or search for Julie Macgregor, aged 27, living on the road?!!! dont ask

Thanku,  It makes all the difference when you get a professional respray.... that and a full days hard graft washing, waxing and polishing.  The kit is TBO front nose and sideskirts???!!!!....... if that means anything to you??!!!  The kit was on it when it came to the UK.

Yeh, you\'ve got the right one.  Marc \'The Garage\' is my neighbour... personal advisor... mechanic.....etc....  Fortunate or unfortunate for him???!!!  You\'ll need to ask him that ? lol

If you hadn\'t already figured out by my plate.... I hate to disappoint you all, but this one\'s owned by the female variety??!!!!  Bigalfaewell is my boyfriend.... just to totally confuse you all..... and before anybody makes a comment....... I totally agree that an RX7 is like a women... \'high maintenance\' and \'temperamental\'?!!  Needs a lot of time, effort and money spent before you get anything out of them.  They are worth it though?!! lol

Hi, handbrake went on with no probs... 15 min job.  The gear knob was a knightmare... Wouldn\'t reccommend momo.... I broke 2, and even the one thais on has been modified to fit?!

Cool :)

One more question...do you have to cut away the original plastic or does it just fit over a tighten?

Cheers
Chris

p.s ive got exactly the same gear knob.  Know what you mean bout fitting it, I had to cut a hole through the rubber insert so it sits low enough.  real pain to take on / off now tho!
