Title: Did the poor mans non sequential today
Post by: BioMech on May 03, 2008, 08:59:02 PM
As above.

Do i need the charge relief valve at all now? Why should it be there now as it really has nothing to do in my opinion? i removed the vacuum hose from it also, and no difference what so ever. makes my wonder why the non seq topic says to use a T and fit with the blow off???

I found that the valve had some pressure in it (or vac) whern i started to do the conversion. i removed it\'s vacuum and heard pssss from it. is it normal??

somehow i feel that even with the vacuum off it vents some boost out when i start tu push the pedal and come to boost. is it possible?
All this is because i suddenly lost a little boost (0.2-0.3 bar) a week or so after renewing some vacuum hoses and charge relief solenid that was dead. the car was fine for weekish but then i noticed the little drop. so i did the non seq npow but didn\'t help that much. now i get a like 0.8-0.9 after 4K but it drops it back to .5 - .6.

Can i just throw it (CRV) away and plug the hose??

guess the best way is just remove the silicon hose from the t-piece? will keep the bov going (and hopefully it will make more of a noise now!)

Just Block off both Charge and dump valve for trouble shooting, or blank them off permantly if you want.
