*sigh* I wanted to try and manage my own proximity sensors but there was nothing in manual about setting proximity range. By doing a A LOT of searching I managed to find a post on an alarm forum in the US where some bloke wrote out a set of instructions that explained how to do it using the key fob.

I can\'t find it now but I bottled out of using it and figured I\'d get it configured by the guys who installed it. Now my problem was that the proximity range was too small. However after several days it started working properly.

I read somewhere that the alarm learns how to behave so it is possible your problem will sort itself out. However I\'m sure you\'re not happy with the alarm going off every 5 minutes. I\'ll have a look tonight and see if I can find the instructions.
