Title: How to remove original vacuum hoses?
Post by: Bunggle on April 27, 2008, 08:21:54 PM
My original hoses are old, hard and brittle. When I tried to remove one, it was stuck to the valve that it was connected to and I broke the valve. Anyone know a good way of unsticking them? maybe a nice solvent or something?

Thanks,
Kym

A really really sharp knife / stanley blade and slice them off.

I used my sisters hairdryer on the hottest setting, to warm them up, then they just twist off easy.

I cut the hoses length way on the connector then twisted them to break the bond they poped striaght off. :Laugh was quite suprised to do the whole nest job without a break.
