Hi All,
I\'ve vurrently got a RE:A AD9 in carbon, and i\'m still not convinced about it - I\'ve still got a hankering after something a bit more OEM in style.
However, I\'ve got a V-mount and i\'m not sure how well it would work with a stock non-vented bonnet, so I\'m looking for something vented, butsubtle.
When i was sourcing the car, I saw a few photos of a car with one that was basically like an OEM bonnet, but with two \'scallops\' towards the rear - I think it may have been MazdaSpeed, but I\'m not sure. And i can\'t find any photos of it at all!
Anyone know which one it is I\'m talking about? Or have i made it all up? :D

Sod\'s law says the one i like is uber rare... Anyone got one and fancy a change to RE:A? ;) :D

Unless you are lucky enough to find one second hand or rich enough to buy one new from feed, your best option would be shine auto in America who make an exact replica.  Believe they produce them in frp or carbon.  You will have no problem selling you carbon AD9 btw :)

You can get shineauto stuff direct from rotaryart :)
 
I see the feed bonnets quite often on the Japanese Yahoo auctions but EMS refuse to ship something of that size (damn them!) :(

I\'d hope selling the AD:9 shouldn\'t be too much of an issue - it\'s finding the FEED that may prove harder :) I may be forced to go with the shine FRP replica, but would be reluctant to because of fears of fitment issues (My AD:9 fits sooo well)  - I want to paint it bodycolour so a carbon one may be a bit of a waste - I\'m guessing the original ones are Carbon only?

Fitment of the Shine stuff\'s generally meant to be excellent. But fitting any panel to an RX7 is always a lottery to a degree, a bonnet that fits one car prefectly can some times not fit another car for sheet...

Don\'t think so, im sure i\'ve seen a few genuine FEED frp ones ;)
