Hi i am looking into defi gauges & could do with a bit of advice.I know you need the control box & obviously gauges but do you then need to buy seperate senders etc or do these come with the gauges.

They come seperatly not with the gauges and the senders can cost more than the gauges.
Im almost sure if ya buy them new they do come with sendors.
I may be wrong as i got mine for a steal as you know lee :rollin

Yeah im just looking into blowing some cash thanks to you:chat but i am confused as to wether they come with senders or not.
Just had a look online and looks like timmy may be correct mate.
Sender units look like being worth £69 each.
Your best bet is to look for some second hand ones like i got.

they do come as i have boost, oil pressure and egt and they all came with sensors

i brought my gauges second hand on ebay, but buy senders news as they may be naff. Still gotta get a load before i install the. You also need to buy a power cable that may come with the control unit not sure and may need extentions for your daisy chain.
Actualy i will add theres a different between link and none link, and some traders do packages including sensors.

New one comes with now. The gauges come with the chain wire and the controller with the power/live wire
Not sure if thats always been the case in the past though
so am i right in saying that if i buy a new control box and new gauges then i wont have to buy anything else to get it up and running

only a sandwich plate if your getting oil temp and pressure
Just checked mine as i havent fitted them yet and the sensors are all there

Defi racer come with sensors, bf and link (now discontinued) do not.
Thats how i understand it anyway.

mine are Defi -Link Meter BF and the controller is Control Unit II
