some light reading

sorry for confusion
That link to the Stealth316 site is actually a very good comparison of the fuel pump capabilities for a number of common pump upgrades.
The Walboro pumps don\'t look that bad at all in comparison - and the skyline and Supra pumps are evidently also good choices. Interestingly, most of the Denso based pumps and the Bosch pumps really eat current - so if your\'re electrics are hicky or your alternator maxed out, they aren\'t too friendly. Seems the walboro units use about half the current to pump the same quantity of fuel.
I think if you are planning to run big power, checking and maybe rewiring the fuel electrical pump circuit is a must for reliable horsepower and safety of your engine.
In regards to warlboro\'s 255 lph there are two versions, low pressure and high pressure, the high pressure for example will only push out that 255 if you are running high enough base pressure, go for the low pressure version if you must go Warlboro.
I cant make sense of this
are you guys saying it is a bad upgrade or not worth putting in etc or are you saying it is?
Its a BNR34 R34 GTR pump?
I would really appreciate your views as im planning to fit it tomorrow! :(

So with the standard wiring, what sort of voltage does the fuel pump usually get?
You will be fine on that pump

who knows as most peoples wiring is 15 years old on a FD, some have seen as little as 8 volts (which will give very poor flow) some see the normal 12. with rewire mod you guaranteed almost 13 volts and hence more flow
for better voltage get a sard Fuel pump relay kit - or i think the MSD voltage booster might do - never used the msd myself but i am using the sard voltage booster and pip has said its worth it.
secondly get good grounding kit - always helps in general and its cheap.
reliability mods are vital.
