Title: So...she started
Post by: nikp on April 17, 2008, 08:01:58 PM
I put some PTFE tape on my fuel line. That stopped the leak. Couldn\'t see any leaks, so gave it a go. Started straight away! :D

However: crap loads of smoke came out. Turns out it was oil. The new turbo oil drain I have is not up to it unfortunately, so was pushing all the turbo\'s oil out the turbo. I knew this as when i switched off i spotted a couple of dribbles of oil come out the front of the turbo! :o

So, I have to sort the oil drain out at the weekend. Does anyone have a standard oil drain assembly for standard twin turbo\'s hanging around? (The drain for the front oil drain)

I have a dead set of twins floating about somewhere so probably, send me a pick of what it is that you want.

i used some PTFE tape on the threads for my fuel rail but found that it melts with petrol so i bought some epoxi resin and used that instead.

not sure where your leak is but i would get it taken off straight away.
