Hey everybody,
My engine has gone pop and getting a rebuild done next week, I have been told that it would be a good idea to get a apexi ecu, have looked around flebay and others but not found too many, just asking has anybody got a second hand one on here?? also anybody know places to get it mapped near Egham Surrey ??

Who is rebuilding your engine?, maybe they offer a mapping service, or do what I have been doing learn it get datalogit and wideband and map it yourself :D
We have one for sale, commander and ECU for £500 brand new in the box.
Id say of too haywood rotary. but yea, who is doing your re-build and are they able to re-map it for you?

R Magic are tuners in Japan, so they have mapped the Apexi Feed Rocket is selling

Can they be locked out, that seems wierd? How can you check? Kind of defeats the point of a programmable ECU surely as it would need to be mapped to a particular combo of mods?

where do you get the info to learn to map them yourselves?
various sources,learned same basic theory, the US site rx7club.com was a good one, datalogit has a private forum for owners of the datalogit. Also experiance of what parameters work and what doesnt, trial and error on my own car

Yep...Marks right but you will loose the map on it and thus have to start again...which is what you want right?!!
However there have been some ...well one that i\'ve seen where the PFC wouldnt re-initialise!
I have heard of one where they couldnt reset it , myself I have managed to unlock a couple of tuners maps
