This isn\'t an official for sale thread as the car isn\'t ready, but...
I am looking to sell the cabrio that a mate and I have been working on:
As it stands the car is a runner, completly standard UK car with 88k on the clock.
Work to date:
We have replaced the front right wing with a resprayed item, replaced the intake temp sensor and solved the issue that car initially had with starting(basically the car was flooded!)
Before the car is sold we will replace the driver\'s side light motor and repair the roof.
The car comes with a massive ammount of history and prior to Ali buying the car, it had been in the same family since it\'s initial sale in 1990.
What is the level of interest?
I\'ll post better pics when I get the chance.
Whats the general condition of the body/seats?
Got any more pics?
body is in good cond, has MOT (small amount of welding was done for it\'s last MOT and we had a good poke around couldn\'t see any other warning signs) Interior is v good seats are in good nick - very slight wear on the drivers side bolster but nowhere near as bad as the TII cloth seats get (just a bit of marking on the leather) Will get more pics next weekend + an idea on how much Ali wants for it
ok here are a few pics, we still have a few things to do yet before it is ready to sell, but if there is any interest I\'m more than happy to answer any questions
Mark, just for a minute I thought you would be selling the BEAST ! Man, I was ready to come over there and woop yo hide bwoy !!
no just the cab ;)
looks Sweet......
The hood is now repaired by me on both sides (an ingenius repair) to make it water tight and presentable....lets face it most people interested will want the roof down not up!!
Gave it a good polish today, and will valet inside to come during the week. It does look as good in the flesh as the photos..... I must be mad but am a compulsive car buyer / seller.... a need to tick the boxes as it were (I\'m sure you are all nodding now!!)
Next plan is to start using it more unless it has interest.....Mark time to get a tan ??
Good news there Captain! So the roof is now fully repaired!
