ok bit of a broad statement, agreed....definitely go look at the car but always take some one with you who knows rotarys, otherwise could end up costly

personally i would be uncomfortable buying an FD without a rebuild at that milage, without supporting documents etc

Should be possible at to get a comp test at either a rotary specialist (I think our local is WGT in cheshire), or any Mazda dealership that\'s fitted out to look after an RX-8. Let us know how you get on.

How muchg is it? it\'s not the mileage so much that\'s important, but the age of the water seals, and the fact that when in Japan they don\'t seem to use anty corrosion inhibitor, Thats what happened to mine, had it rebulit at 49K done 65K now, just working on an advert! but has some very good mods!

Well just come back from having a look at this car it was looking great until i asked the guy to take me on a test drive started from cold didn\'t let the car warm up at all went down the road and he totally trashed the car,  He then was bragging on about how many cars he had raced so thats when i made my mind up just to walk away!
No service history i don\'t even know how it got throw an mot I\'m sure it was a bent mot because there was no rear fog light and also had jap tyres still on which i thought was a fail and the camber of the wheels look a bit dodgy so im still rex -less:(

camber and tyres shouldnt fail a mot at all....p.s mine has no visible rear fog light i use one of my reversing lights instead.......granted the rest is a bit off putting....but the fact is you would never know if he said he hardly used it.....at least he was honest!
