I just finished installing my JR intake kit to for the FD. We found that the kit came with a smaller dia filter aswell. Ok we were not sure where to throw it so we fitted it to the one hose that comes behind the intake manifold (between firewall and intake) is this ok? we did this because the hose was too short to fit the filter housing, as it would touch the air pump pulley slightly, so we plugged the hose feed on the air filter.
another thing. the upper pipe from the airpump is now free (we plugged it), is this ok? I took the airpump connector away, so it has no electrical feed.
i didn\'t touch anything else.
Oh and i threw the by pass valves to the woods and fitted a Forge blow off kit at the same time
