my previous rx7 was written off in feb 2007, and last i heard a chap in scotland (i think perhaps aberdeen or edinburgh?) bought it from the insurers and was putting her back on the road. unfortunately i had a complete computer disaster since then and lost all my data, including his name and email address.
the car was a standard (bar exhaust and steering wheel) yellow FD with WGT rebuilt engine, reg K664YOD (featured in evo issue 101). i was just wondering if anybody on here had seen or heard anything about it lately, particularly if anybody knows whether she is back on the road yet? i don\'t have any real reason for asking, other than i just have a habit of forming unhealthy sentimental bonds with my cars and i just like to know that they\'re ok somewhere :)
dunno bud, i know of 2 yellow fd`s up here in that area tho, both running about 500bhp, i`l ask at the next meet for ya

was only offerd it ,after i dug up that it was in an accident i never went to see it but the guy said he was just outside glasgow,he sent me a few pic\'s and i have to say it looked really good.infact it look\'s one of the best that i have seen.
by utter chance today is the first time i\'ve been on these forums since a year ago when i posted this thread, imagine my surprise when i logged in and saw this thread near the top :) hehe
i\'ve actually just bought a new rx7 this week, picking her up next tuesday and i\'m so very excited!
if i hadn\'t already i would definitely have been curious about potentially buying my old one back. do you know if there\'s an advert up for it anywhere online, or was it just offered to you word of mouth?

not yellow this time, gone back to black with a touring model, almost identical to the first rx7 i had before the yellow one, 5 years ago :) (only difference is this is an auto, i would have preferred a manual but everything else about it was just right so thought i\'d give auto a try, takes some getting used to!)
now on the look out for some avs model 5 bright chrome, so if anybody happens to see any for sale please give me a nudge! :D
