I have secured 6 spaces for ABBEVILLE, FRANCE for JULY 25th at £75.00 each. THIS IS A FRIDAY
For anyone who doesn\'t know it ... It\'s a fab circuit, no noise limit, YOU CAN DRIFT IT (Just ask my other half!) and everyone we know who has been loves it.
I will look up eurotunnel, hotel/villa, organise everything but for now I need to know who wants in! There may be more spaces available if the interest is greater than 6 but I WILL NEED THE MONEY NEXT WEEK TO SECURE IT PROPERLY (if you know what I mean).
It will mean meeting Thursday evening and getting the evening eurostar over, hotel/villa ... Track day Friday. Please let me know if you put your name down - if the opportunity were there at a reasonable price would you like to do country runs on Saturday and make more of a weekend of it?? (Their roads are fantastic ... EMPTY!!)

It seems we have reached capacity on both forums (MRC and FDUK) hence I will go through both and add a new list based on the times that they posted.

This has been done on a first post first served basis combining both forums (MRC and FDUK). As with the activity days and as posted Cheryl needs the money to secure the first 6 spaces by FRIDAY 4th APRIL - £78 inc fee\'s
A quick note on friends i.e Andy\'s mate - Priority will go to forum members/rotary owners etc first. Passengers are more than welcomed at no extra cost.
Reserves - due to popularity there is a good chance more spaces will become available by Cheryl sourcing more or people not paying in time so keep your eye on this.

I\'ve contected Paul this morning with regards to more spaces and I will let you know ASAP his response!
I\'ve also been chatting to the French Tourist board (not really just a few locals) and they have recommended a hotel or B&B in St Valery sur Somme. Near the coast so any ladies who fancy a stroll, shop, or sun bathe (fingers crossed) don\'t have any issues with transport as we will all have the cars at the track!!

Been doing some sums and the costs of the tunnel are expensive if we go for more than one night. And I mean at best it\'s £70 more expensive. Thus what do people think of the following ....
Thursday 24th stay at The Carlton Hotel in Folkestone (3 miles from the tunnel) where we can get the tunnel by 6am for £27.00 .... drive to Abbeville (I have spoken briefly to Paul and he said he would be happy if we had to start at the track a bit later due to this but I don\'t see that it\'s necessary). Do the track day then travel to Criel Sur Mer for the Friday night. Get a little beach time etc then make a country run back in the direction of Calais to get the tunnel between 10pm and midnight for £27.00 again.
Thus costs look like the following ...
PER COUPLE
Carlton Hotel £63.00
Tunnel Out £27.00 (providing it\'s before 6am)
Track Day £78.00
Hotel in Fracne £61.00
Tunnel Back £27.00
TOTAL £253.00 (£126.50 each) (I\'ve worked it out to £222 singularly. You don\'t get much concession for being a single traveller do you!)
Plus food for you and the car! Spends etc.

Boy and I glad that\'s all sorted! The only suggestio I can make to anyone who does not want to share is to let me know and book yourself in somewhere else. I think we are the B&B\'s only guests for those dates and we fill it!! So it would mean booking somewhere different. I wanted to try to keep everyone together but the choice is yours. We don\'t mind at all just so long as you let me know.

Due to a family tragedy last night I won\'t be making the trip to Abbeville.
I have spoken to Paul (Lotus on Track) and he is doubtful if this space can be sold - hence its basically free (I have already paid for it) to any takers if you can get a Eurotunnel crossing and the time off.
I have managed to postpone my eurotunnel booking (July 25 - out @ 5:48 and back @ 22:50) so this may be bookable if someone needs it (unfortunately they won\'t allow me to change the name on mines).
So if someone definitely wants this space - let me know and I\'ll pass on your details to Paul (and Mark and Cheryl) - but first ensure you can get a tunnel booking.
Mark, Cheryl - if you know anybody that wants this space - please let Paul and me know.
