Title: garages to work on my rx7 in south wales

i live in a place called ebbw vale about 30 mins from newport. anyone know where i can get work done on my car for quite cheap. the garages round by me dont seem to like working on the rotary engine.lol

Try //www.hyeline.com.  Used to use them to work on my FTO and they had a fair bit of knowledge about RX\'s and they also import them.  Can be pricey but they have a good rep and also a full rolling road setup.

all i can say to hyeline is nnnnnoooooooo!

look on the internet they have a horrible reputation.

I went there once and never again.

You will have a list of stuff that apparently needs doing the size of your arm and i think their phones must only accept incoming calls as they never call you back as promised.

Bad bad company.

I stand corrected.  When I was going there they seemed ok and did help me fix a few problems but I have heard of a few people who have had nothing but probs with them.
If I were you I\'d look at driving down to one of the main garages ie rx motors or taking a trip up to WGT.

carl is probably closest at hayward rotary or dragon.


wgt and rx motors All seem to have good reps too.

Hyline is a noooo!!!!

i know its a long drive but i go to WGT they really gud, however i have used dragon too.

Cheshire - about 3 hours from you, maybe 2.5 if you put your foot down :3gears-rh

Places in Berkshire are your closest (forgotten their names).

I\'ve only heard bad things about Hyeline too, would not go there.

i use wgt mainly tis a fair drive but worth it

did a check over on mine all they could find was a dodgy defi link hahahahahahaha

went to pip for a map said the car was clean pulls strong a good buy :Laugh

or there is gtec tuning in carmarthen now he is not a specialist in rx7 but he has worked on mine with no probs and that was clutch fitting and new turbo
