aint got a problem just seen everyone on about trickle chargers just thought that if you let the battery go flat all the time might it fry the electrics. this is my first rx7 and had it about a week, just a bit over worried of blowing anything.

If you garage the car you could get an isolater switch for your battery, that would stop it going flat. Trickle charging your battery is fine, just keep an eye on the fluid levels if it isn\'t a sealed battery. I run a small race battery and it only holds a charge for about a week,so i\'m always re-charging that and i\'ve had no problems with the cars electrics.

I believe that a RX-7 needs a really healthy battery to get it started. If the battery is a bit weak you might flood it.
Been there myself and also pushed Atomic REX\'s FD round the Castle Combe paddock for the same reason. LOL.

Thats why I keep mine on a trickle charger.

I run a small Gell type race battery and have to trickle charge it through the winter. Letting the battery go flat won\'t hurt the car so don\'t worry about that.

No question is too small or too silly in relation to a Rex, so don\'t worry about asking Q\'s we will not shoot you down like they do on other forums mate. We are all in the same club and we are always all learning.

Tell us about your Rex pics etc mate.....all the best.
