It\'s been a point of discussion by many as to whether the white single turbo I have is a bridgeport or not. Well been in touch with company who built it in Japan and they advise that it is bridgeported but they also advise that low end and mid range driving was taken into consideration so they have built it in a way that low end and mid range is not as comprimised as a normal bridgeport would be but didn\'t go into detail on how they manged to go about this.
Car is almost back to it\'s former glory after being stripped and normalised for the sva test in January. Took it out for a blast Wednesday and can\'t wait for my first victim. Car will on the rolling road very soon and santa pod also. So I guess the next update will be when I break 12 sec on 1/4 mile:bandit

If it is bridgeported(idles at 1600-2000rpm\'s and lopes), they probably did a small secondary bridge and didn\'t port to high on the exhaust port to decrease overlap. This would help in maintaining some of the low to mid range and has proven to increase midrange torque. I ran a setup with a 6mm bridge on the secondaries and an exhaust port that was extended up 8mm from stock and found that from 3000rpm\'s up the car pulled stronger than with the side port. I was running a 67-1 with a P trim 1.15 exhaust side. Fun car, 1bar was over 500rwhp. I miss it, but the neighbors and cops don\'t.
Hi Igy,
How you doing! what happened to that car then ?
I often read yours & Dragons posts on the other forums.
I always learn lot\'s from you guy\'s good to see you here.
Well the car idles at 1000 rpm & lopes but not like other bridges I have heard. The comany that built the car is a guy called Tani
from Pro Shop Fukuoh. Unfortunately his English is about as good as my Japanese so it\'s a bit hard interpreting his emails when questioning him about the car.

In my experience Japanese shops will tell you what you want to hear. It\'s probable that your car has a big sideport with a big exhaust port that extends up increasing overlap. My car has a slight lope at 1000rpms and is now sideported. I wasn\'t having any fun staring at my car everyday, so I pulled the bridge motor and put a good sideported motor together for it. I have driven it almost everyday since.
