any guidence would be great
:Thumbsup!
Did you have it mapped by a tuner beforehand?
Do you have a Datalogit?
Trying to input Fuel cell and ignition values via the commander is a painful business
was told it was "professionally" mapped when i bought it (on wednesday) then developed an idleing problem did a visual check on everything then read bout how peoples fc\'s were playing up so thought that would be the prob only to find out it werent and a vacumn house for a boost gauge (which i dont have-well except on the commander) wasn\'t on properly so like an idiot have reset it for no reason:2Mad
other than that the car is fantastic although just noticed that footwell behind drivers door is wet but that might be from when jet washed it door might not have been shut properly/or window or a bad seal
but still you got to laugh
Ok if it was professionally mapped ask the previous owner who or where it was done, then you should be able to contact the tuner who should have saved the map done for the car on their Laptop, it will take all of 10 minutes to download it back to the Apexi ECU via the datalogit the tuner will have
happened to me mate, my old FD lost the map and went back to the base map. Straight to Max @ Re-Worx and 2 minutes later the old map was back on and driving fine
thats the problem the guy i got it off didnt have the work done to it so no idea when it was setup or where
is there any recommended tuners in or near northampton that could do the mapping also any idea on a rough guesstimate on price
Probably Pip at WGT in Cheshire I think, you are looking at approx £300 to £400 for a mapping session
chesire thats a good drive how long would he need the car for??
