hi
just wondering what is the maximum boost i can go to i have stock twins decat after market air filters powerfc with standard injectors
any ideas just interested
and what is your setup and bhp
stick to 10psi and reliability :D
Iv been boosting to 12psi for over a year with no probs.
You can goto 1.0 bar around 14psi but you might max your injectors out first, fuel system upgrades maybe required. I think you can get to around 0.9bar on stock injectors.
Yep, I\'m running about 85% with 1200 secondaries at 1bar of boost. Although the turbos don\'t really last all that long ! got about 2yrs of weekend driving out of mine before they became suspect. Going single to cure this :D
I would say don\'t go above 0.85bar with the stock injectors. Stick to 0.8bar and you should be ok.
Some people do increase the fuel pressure to the injectors to get more out of them but there is an increase chance of failure due to running over recommended pressures. This is done with an after market FPR.
0.9 bar is very much the limit, you ideally don\'t want to go over 80-85% on the injectors before you risk big issues. After early 90% the injectors are running at 100% regardless.

I\'m running 0.98bar and its maxing out my injectors big time. Just bought some 1680cc ones and fuel rail, just need a damn pump and regulator!
Hi
I am running 0.94 boost with injector duty up to 92% similar modd, de cat, hks racing suction kit, no air pump, blitz dumb valve, Apexi pfc, greddy pulleys
Having siad that engine detonated due to turbo manifold crack and flap getting stuck thus over boosting = detonation
200 miles on a full re-build, as soon as it reaches 1000 miles I will re map with JaeDay and lower to safer boost
Who knows if it is the higher boost what has damaged the turbo housing...

I\'m running up to about 0.89 Bar, set by Pip when it was mapped.
However on track the other day i hit 94% injector duty, i think i may have to knock it down a bit.
As for your max boost - i\'d say whatever the guy who is mapping it is happy with ;)
Normaly on twins 0.85 bar is your safe max, but most knock it down to .8 to be on the safe side of cautious!!
