Russ: I know what you say, think I will put on some transparent vinyl on the inside of the rear fender liner. and on the front of the sideskirt. :P

Car handles sooo nice with the new ARB\'s
Had a look at the Carbing swaybar and I think I will get myself one of those.
Have to remove my Rasta themed enginebay.

Thanks everyone for the great comments.

Only one word can describe it................ AWESOME! :D

That looks ace, Daniel!!

Car\'s come a long way since when we first bought it for you, despite the quality, those photos don\'t do it justice, I suspect. White\'s always a difficult colour to shoot. Also looks as if those offsets were spot on! :Thumbsup!

Maybe I should be ordering an additional Carbing brace on Monday, to go with the ones ordered for Russ and myself... :D

For the show, just get yourself a Rasta wig and hat and all will be aaaalright!:bandit
It\'ll save you a fortune in blue Samco hoses and anodised pulleys :rollin

Look forward to seeing more pictures soon.

Cheers

Miguel

LOL

That\'s a great Idea.....  :D

Hmm, yes Maybe I do need one of the Braces.. But I need to order just the Auto exe rear one then, and Im not sure if I can get them separate. Will have to think more about that.

Ill try to find some good spots today now that I have the decals on as well.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!

BTW, forgot to mention. If you\'re thinking of upgrading the rear wing soon, then I know a man who may want your 1999 rear spoiler - We\'ve just bought him a white \'98 FD ;)

White\'s not as bad as my black car for stone chips, but paint is paint. White\'s the easiest to respray too. Do tell friends not to follow you too closely.. These tyres will kick up stones!

I\'m going to order the Carbing for you, buddy. You know you want it!
I\'m sure we can get you just the rear Auto Exe one if you want red. Remember, there\'s also the alternative I mentioned on the phone, which is the same design but roughly half the price, in met blue :cheers

Cheers

Miguel: Hehe, I will use a portable vacuum cleaner to have in the car, my diffuser is very very good at collection stones. I\'ll have a thought about the Braces.. I do know I need them, and soon :D

Grim: Thanks man!

That is seriously nice :) Not 100% sure about the wheels (i think im right in saying, they come in a low dish and high dish (dish on the spokes that is) option ...is that the high youve chosen?)..

the overall look is stunning though!

Post by: chrno on March 16, 2008, 11:35:56 AM
Jit:

I havn\'t seen an option regarding high or low dish but these are the ones on the Amemiya Touge monster :P

Rob: I have been ordering parts from Japan for about 6years now, and I have never ever had the same service, nor speed on finding and sending the things I want. Miguel is simply the best

Damn that looks good!!... I like your taste. I think you\'ve managed to pick all the parts that are on my shortlist - I\'ve just gotta get the car now!

I\'ll be getting my RX through Miguel at Newera - I got my last car (a \'98 Supra TT) from Newera and both the car and the service were superb. No reason to look anywhere else in my opinion...

Can\'t quite see your bonnet in the pics but is it an AD9?

Macer: Yes, it\'s the AD9 hood, thanks for the comment! :)

Some options... for rear

I want one I can stick some harness mounts on.

I\'m thinking about this one... from autostaff

But you need the original mounts... which I don\'t have

Leg sport... Black and not so in your face.

Russ: I dont think the one from Auto Staf is very safe in case of a collision.
The force generated in the bar when you mount the eyebolts on top of it is going to be HUGE, much better if you could loop the belts around something, and the Leg one is pretty nice. I went for the Blue "exe" one since that looks very very solid, it has the vertical reinforcements, and it will stop the harness from sliding.
Also ordered the Makers Racing Stabilizer mount since it\'s red and will looks SOOO good with my Stabilizers.. Not that anyone will look underneath in the first place but still :D

Sounds scary!

They salt the roads good over there, right? So I guess you wouldn\'t be towing in ice, or snow.. :driving

Looking amazing :InLove

Crying out for wing mounted mirrors and a GTIII though to complete the touge look.  Great car...

Post by: chrno on March 17, 2008, 11:12:47 AM
Jake: I am going to have a chat with the police before I order the Wing, I know they don\'t fancy GT wings much and I don\'t want to take it off every other second. But I agree. The mirrors is something I have thought back and fourth about. But Miguel, Russ and I looked at them in the flesh, and they arn\'t as nice as they look.. But I havn\'t decided yet as I said..  :D

Looking great fella!

Which diffuser are you using if you dont mind me asking?  Looks like the RE Pro diffuser, but a bit different:3Confused

Chris:
Thanks alot! :)

Correct, it\'s the RE-Amemiya Pro diffuser in Carbon, with RE-Amemiya Bowtech generators.

Post by: Jake on March 17, 2008, 11:32:59 AM
I hope the police are fine with it, I agree taking it off every few days would just be pointless.  Isn\'t the GTIII road legal in Japan at least.

I\'ve never seen the mirrors in person.  I\'ve got the RE Amemiya front lip on my 99 spec like Miguels and the RE carbon finish does leave a little to be desired.  I think if I got anything else RE Amemiya I\'d get it in FRP so it could be finished by the bodyshop.

Jake: If I will get the wing, I will have it in FRP with Carbon sides. so I can paint it white. Think that will look the best on the car.. :D

Problem now is I am starting to thinkg GT-AD kit.. :P
Although next step is to sort F50 Brakes a new catback and then some more tweeks to the suspension..  And I am very tempted on going single.... :D

I agree, FRP would be best.

haha, but you get the GT-AD kit and you\'ll have to get new wheels in lower offsets :D Nice kit though :Thumbsup!

Are you getting the RE Amemiya Time Attack replica cat back to complete the RE look?

As far as mirrors I actually think the Craft Square mirrors Russ has are the nicest I\'ve seen on a Rex.

Which single tub?  Greddy TD06 25G?
Title: New rims arrived and finally fitted
Post by: chrno on March 17, 2008, 12:39:36 PM
Single is either the Greddy one mentioned, or the T04z..  Havn\'t decided yet.... Think I might have to little done to use the T04z but it\'s a nice kit that both panspeed and R-magic uses.. But Greddy TD06 might be more suited.. OR the Knightsports SS480, that is a kit I LOVE and have been driving with.

Will sort the brakes first though..and then some interior mods.. that will make it a killer..  but that\'s a secret for now. :D
