I got the email saying that scooby_si had replied to this post and all that jumped in to my head was "THREAD HIJACK!":D
Spoke to Pip today. Apparently they were just welding something on the rad. Didn\'t ask what though. I\'ve asked him if I can try and have it back by Friday, as I\'m missing it now and Pips had the car longer than I have. :rolleyes:
They are going to fit a HKS dump valve and the air filter. I\'m guessing they\'ll have done the dodgy temp gauge by then as well.
Most of the other jobs were minor/setup type jobs and can always wait.
The list of required work as it stands at the moment is ... fit the 2 extra bonnet pins, get motec readings and set rev limiter, alter front suspension setup, secure the left mirror - it\'s a bit loose, check engine mounts - add additional support if neccessary, fit sidelights(probably wait until MOT is due again), fit new mirror switch (up don\'t work), install extra gauges, check fuel pump to see whats fitted, get the minor dent in the door repaired, replace door lock barrels, fit traction control if I ever get the unit off Japvillage.
Oh yeah, and then there\'s the other stuff like getting the security guys to finish my alarm install for full closure, setting up the motec for higher boost and of course, one day when I\'ve got money again it\'ll be re-nitroused.
And fit drag tyres.

Yeah, I noticed that on the pic too. That pic was back when japvillage had it, so maybe that was just after they\'d wrecked another engine:D
I\'m really hoping to collect her on Friday, but not too sure yet. Spoke to Pip again today, and it sounded like there was some progress.
Not sure when I\'ll be down south yet. I know that it will be going to Santa Pod as soon as I get chance and am happy with the setup.

Do ALL us Rotary guys a favour; dont talk total shit about the car like they did in Fast Car or Revs or whatever comic it was in recently! It makes us look bad :) Get Pip to help you with the spec for it if you dont know. iiyama - not too sure. from what I\'ve read it sounds a bit more mapable than the Racelogic ones I\'ve heard of, but IIRC Racelogic do a few different versions.
20B_boy - I\'m going to ask Pip for a few details, although you may find that there won\'t be brand names to a few bits unless it\'s obvious when I take a look. I won\'t have time to do a dyno test by next Friday - I\'m only getting the car back off Pip tomorrow or Friday. It hasn\'t been setup for the high boost yet either. If they insist on a power figure, I\'ll probably just say between 400-500hp on current low boost. Nice and vague :)
Obviously I\'ll tell them its a 20b triple rotor motor as used in the Cosmo.

Pip\'s rollers only go up to XXXXhp.
They are still useful for many things though.

No, I think they mean Ab-flug \'cause thats the make of nose you have! Not sure any of it is KS from recollection; if you give us some side and rear pics we\'ll be able to give u the goods...
they even said it was a \'modified\' veilside bodykit once lol:p however it is a Abflug front, looks like R-Magic sideskirts?can\'t see the rear bumpers:(

Hi again I cant find the pics of your car when it was imported? I still have about 100 cd\'s to look through which I\'ll try and get trough (I did alot of burning instead of working at my last job). I should find it but might be a while :)
