Title: My car is here...
Post by: Leeman on March 03, 2004, 03:56:50 PM
Hi all,

Picked up my new RX8 on monday (230 Tit)......and I have not stopped smiling since !!!

This car is truly magnificent and although the three month wait seemed to last an eternity, it was well worth it in the end. I can\'t praise the car enough.......it\'s look, it\'s handling, the fantastic noise it makes............I feel like a big kid and keep getting butterflies in my stomach everytime I get in the car.

I have been driving the car non-stop and have done over 400 miles already..........it\'s addictive...........I find myself taking the long route everywhere now, just as an excuse to spend more time in the car.

Everyone who has seen the car loves the look of it (young and old) and I am glad I chose the titanium paintwork over my initial thoughts of black.............it looks bloody awesome !!!

I will post some pictures as soon as I am able too.......back off out now to get my next adreneline fix !!!

Lee...

Congrats mate!

I have a long wait to even order mine (saving the pennies like mad)

Can I ask what changed your mind from black to titanium?

Hi Lee,

Congrats on the car.  You had better get used to the excitement of driving such a stylish model as it still feels just as good 4 months later.

I had a black Calibra for a long time.....what frustrated me most about the car was that you could spend a whole morning cleaning and waxing it.................only to find that 10mins later it still looks smeary and dusty.

This was the main reason.......and I feel it was the right choice to make as the car looks stunning in all types of light.
