Some good info in that ebay ad Stuart. Hope it sells OK.
By the way, the series 1 (SA) had a different back axle arrangement to the later series, with a different prop shaft bolt arrangement. Worth telling any buyer to get an S1 prop shaft, unless it\'s already been modified to later spec, as I don\'t think the S2 or S3 will fit. (Not sure about S2, but S3 certainly won\'t).
I like your full and frank detailing in the ad.

Cheers Dave,
I would always describe a car honestly, warts & all, good points & bad,i would be very ****ed off if i bought a car off ebay & it wasnt as described.
Every niggle & good point has been listed so peeps can be confident what they are buying.
With regards to the prop, its best to get the orig one reconditioned as i think youre right they may be different between the models.
If it dosent sell,i may keep it & sell the red 38000 miler ive got instead.
I have 4 cars,my annual uk mileage is at a push 2000 miles, far too many toys, most of my driving is in eastern europe & they dont allow cars to be registered there which are more than 7 yrs old!!
Cheers:wave

Looks like this is another RX7 on its way to Ireland.
The guy seems dead keen,he wants picking up from Gatwick so he can drive it back.
A lot of timewasters on ebay, been offered a good amount twice & they\'ve both messed about when it comes to a deposit!
Fingers crossed this guys ok:wave

Hi Stuart. I\'ve just sent you an email via eBay, I missed the advert here! Oops!

I\'m afraid I can\'t PM you as I\'m not a full member, but I\'m very interested in the car. Sounds like I\'ve been pipped to the post, but if for any reason the sale falls through please get in touch, either on this thread or by dropping me a quick message at: adrian_leach@hotmail.com .

Thanks! :-)

I spoke to the new irish owner today & he\'s loving the car & will join this or the irish club.
He drove it 500 miles home in the pouring rain on sunday,it ran perfectly.
He\'s been looking for this model for 5 years & is gobsmacked at how good the body is on it,as are his mates.
He\'s told them it cost £5000 sterling & they believe him!
He had a hell of a journey,i picked him up at Gatwick 9.30am,he drove up to Holyhead but missed the last ferry, then drove to Fishguard, got that ferry & arrived home at 9am monday morning!!
Glad it\'s gone to a good home & hope he joins here so i can see what he does to the car.

Really glad to hear it\'s gone to such a good home. I would have been equally thrilled with the car I\'m sure! Let\'s hope he joins the club and keeps us posted as to his time with the car!

Are the mirrors on this car standard Stuart? They look really swish compared to mine, I wondered if maybe they changed the design after the Series 1 Mark 1?

The mirrors were aftermarket, the previous owner ordered them from Taiwan for £3 for the pair!
They look great, but you can\'t see anything out of them!
Good luck with yours,it looks a nice car,don\'t see many in black.
The single exit exhaust was the same as your\'s,toooooo loud, the guy\'s gonna put a quieter twin pipe silencer box on the rear,as per standard cars.
